Maisons-Sur-Mer 902 - Ocean View - Shore Drive

Perfect spot for a family of four, girls trip or two couples (which was our group). The location was quiet, away from the tourist traps but close enough that you could drive/uber to them if you wanted to. Short drive from Barefoot Landing which was a great spot for dinner. The unit was clean, updated and beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed the balconies from coffee in the morning to sunset apps and cocktails in the evening. We also left the doors open for most of our trip (mid-April) to let the ocean in. The building was clean, updated and very secure! Keycard access was required coming and going as well as to access the beach. The building is gated off from the public from the beach. The pool was open but the pool bar was not (opened May 1st)
The rental company was on the way to the building. We got there a little before check-in, called and were able to get the keys earlier. Ease of drop off when leaving was great too - it is literally on the way in/out of the beach.

Perfect location for a much needed adult vacation! Quiet spot on the beach away from tourist traps but close enough that you could enjoy them if you want to. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and just right for two couples but would also be great for a girls trip or a small family vacation. The balconies were perfect to enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails watching the sunset in the evening. The building was super secure. Key card access required to enter the building and even coming and going from the beach. We were slightly ahead of the busy season so the pool bar wasn't open but the pool was. We ubered to Murrells Inlet one night and drove the short trip to Barefoot Landing another. I wasn't sure about having to stop at the rental office but it was super convenient, literally on the way to the condo. We arrived slightly before 4:00 and were able to grab the key cards and begin enjoying our trip! Just as easy leaving to swing by the office and drop the key cards off. All and all, we had a great experience and look forward to booking again next year!

Furnishings were old and worn out. Main balcony table.chairs and lounges paint peeling and dirty. Only one chair on master balcony. No remote for tv in living area. Second bathroom very nice and had been updated. Master bath needs work. The condo needs paint and other repairs. Kitchen adequate. TV in master needs to be mounted on the wall. Beds comfortable but bedspread needs to be replaced. Dishwasher rack does not stay on track. Does not have any beachy feel. Maison sur mer is an excellent property. Grounds well kept and great security. North Beach Realty was excellent to work with.
