An event not to miss! On Saturday, October 8th Oktoberfest 2011 takes place from Noon-11 p.m. in Downtown Myrtle Beach, SC. This year’s show features Galactic and G. Love & Special Sauce. There will be authentic German food, beer and wine; an alcohol-free Kid’s Zone with inflatables and street performers; a Bratwurst eating contest; and an amazing fireworks display. Free live concerts all day include:

Street Performance 3-3:15 p.m. Boardwalk Performance 4:15-4:45 p.m. Fireworks Display 11:00 p.m. Free admission. Fireworks following the show! Ocean Boulevard will be closed to motor vehicles from 8th Avenue N. to Mr. Joe White Ave. (Pyler Park). A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Horry County Special Olympics.
