Maisons-Sur-Mer 806 - Marsh View - Shore Drive

This was by far one of the nicest vacation rentals please stayed at for a week. Clean comfortable well-appointed. Looking forward to our next trip.

Nice place, On the beach. Pool was not heated. Couldn't use it. Note: Watch out for the porch Nazi. Got yelled at with a couple "F" bombs thrown at my wife and I!?? Total idiot. All because I backed my SUV into a space. Worried about $3K in golf equipment, so I back it against the wall. Didn't go over well with 2nd floor guy. Didn't realize we were breaking a "RULE" at the time. Yes, we saw the signs after.

September at the Maisons Sur Mer was delicious! Great weather, great food, and the most wonderful accommodations! Unit 806 is beautiful and well kept. We will be back!

First I’ll speak on the Maisons as a whole. This is THE ONLY place I will stay in Myrtle Beach! It is a secure, safe, and fun place to take your family. My family has been coming here for over a decade. This was our first time in this particular unit. We normally stay on the 20th floor but our owners recently sold the unit. This unit is very nice. They’ve taken the wall out between the kitchen and living room. This makes it a nice open floor plan. Everything is updated and decorated very nicely. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. This unit seemed to be a bit larger than others I’ve been in. There are tons of seating for dining. The balcony is huge and will seat about 14 people. There is no view of beach/pool area from this balcony. Your view will be of the road but it’s not bad. We are accustomed to renting directly from the owner instead of the realty company. Your checkin time is later and you have to go get the keys, sign paperwork, etc. before going to the condo. You also have to take the keys all the way back upon departure. Suggestion: buy a lanyard to put the key cards on. It makes them easier to keep up with. Replacement cost is $200!!! Also, checkout time is 10 am. The cleaning crew was there before 9. Although they did not attempt to come in they did drop some of there supplies outside the door. I would prefer NOT to see them at all. Unit 806 is a very nice place and we will certainly return in the future.

The condo kitchen and baths have been tastefully upgraded, and the building amenities are well kept. We enjoyed the quick walk down to the beach, and the large pool. The condo itself is in need of some new touches, like dining furniture and patio furniture. We noticed rusty patio furniture and duct tape holding some of the pieces together. The restaurant across the street was convenient for a quick bite. However, come closing time the bar patrons could be heard yelling and cheering from our 8th floor bedrooms. This woke us up on a nightly basis. My biggest gripe would be the rental company. I had to visit their office three times during my five day stay, and the visits were unavoidable. The first time to grab my keys in the after hours drop box. The second to fill out check in paperwork and have my credit card copied for the deposit. And the third to check out and return keys. In 2021, these check in/out policies are inconvenient and outdated. These items should be addressed digitally.

Loved this place! Elegant, home feel with wreath on the door, key code entry was super helpful. Immediate access to pool and beach, on site personnel very friendly. Excellent customer service, answered questions right away. SO clean, definitely recommend. Spacious. Spare bedroom does get warm but helps to lower shades mid day. Kitchen updated, great stay!

Words can't explain how Beautiful this apartment is. It looks just like the pictures. Very classy and clean place to stay. Easy Check in. Very nice staff at North Beach Realty. I will stay here again in the near future.

This rental was located away from the busier boardwalk section, but that was just what we wanted. Near enough to go visit if you wanted, but far away from the hustle and bustle. The beach right outside the unit was clean, fun and convenient. The condo unit was very clean and functional. Would stay here again.

The condo unit & building are exceptional. This unit # 806 was super comfortable and roomy and had super large TVs in every room and an amazing kitchen. The parking is easy, game room is nice. Being on the beach is awesome! As for the booking service .... The fact that we had to drive over 5 miles to get our keys fobs and then again when we leave do the same thing is simply ridiculous! The booking agency North Beach Realty could have simply left the key fob packet in the room since we have a code to get in the room anyway! They can also have a box in the room to leave them in or get them from the room after we leave! Also, the Explorie attraction sites discount was useful and Susan was very helpful. Essentially, it saves you the cost of paying for 1 person in your group for each attraction you visit. You might have to wait a long time on the phone to make your discounted reservation, but was also due to shortage of call center personnel due to covid.
