SOS Fall Migration 2017

The end of summer offers up days getting shorter and the nights growing longer, a little chill in the night air, and flocks of birds winging their way south for the winter. This all means one thing to shaggers. The SOS Fall Migration has arrived in North Myrtle Beach!

SOS Fall Migration
Buried deep in the instincts of every shagger is the preferred migration destination of soulful dancers with sand in their shoes and rhythm in their hearts that is Ocean Drive.

The center of attention from Sept. 15-24 is the famous SOS lounges along coastal South Carolina. The SOS lounges are Fat Harold’s, Ducks, Duck’s II, the OD Arcade, the Pirate’s Cove and the clubs at the OD Beach & Golf Resort.

Each lounge has its own special quality, so you really need to go to each one during this Fall Migration. Many member clubs of the ACSC will schedule “tea parties” in the local lounges. The lounges themselves schedule special parties during the migration. Popular bands show up along Main Street playing crowd favorites.

SOS Fall Migration
Shag dance instructors will offer classes to the masses who are seeking to improve their skill or increase their repertoire of moves.

The heart of SOS events can be found at the intersection of Main Street and Ocean Drive but don’t miss the two monster events held right out in the sparkling sun of the crystal coast.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend both SOS Fun Sunday and Fun Monday!

On the first Sunday and only Monday of the Fall Migration everyone meets in the street for two of the biggest block parties you have ever seen, Fun Sunday and Fun Monday. On Fun Sunday the party is in the street beside the OD Arcade.

Some of the best names in beach and shag music will help you rock the day away with a few thousand of your closest friends. Don’t worry if you can’t get enough fun in one day, because on Monday we’ll do it all again. On Fun Monday we will pack Main Street from OD to Hillside. There will be great music, dancing in the street, and fun to be had by all.

There will be merchandise vendors, food and drink vendors, and displays set up by the SOS sponsors.

If you are ready for a little adventure, maybe it is time for you to schedule a trip to the wilds of North Myrtle Beach. Maybe it is time for you to join the party at the SOS Fall Migration.

Booking Online Has Never Been Easier

Choosing the perfect vacation is a process filled with logistical hurtles that can sometimes become more of a chore than a pleasant experience. Making calls to check the availability of properties, and details on properties themselves can remain a murky subject. Forget seamlessly booking online right? Well not anymore.

The Ease of Booking

The time leading up to your vacation should be one excitement and anticipation. From choosing destinations, dates when you and your family can get together, to selecting the right property for your adventure, nailing down the details can take some serious work. But we at North Beach Realty thought that this process should be one where finding the perfect home or condo is an enjoyable process filled with thoughts of the vacation to come, and information readily available for those all important details. Once you have your ducks in a row booking online using our brand new website is easy.

We’ve been hard at work creating a brand new website to showcase our selection of vacation rentals. Our goal was to provide a platform where our guest can easily view properties, choose dates they would like to come, and be able to curtail their vacation without the hassles of wondering if the property they have chosen will be available to rent for their vacation.  Our new website allows guests to look ahead and book early, or see what’s available in the near future for quick getaway. Everything is updated in real time for the most up to date information.

The keys to an easy to use platform meant one that was available on any device, up to date, and built around providing you the guest the features you need to book confidently. So in closing, please visit our new website and let us know what you think. We would love to hear from our guests about the process and any ways we can continue to make booking a vacation a pleasurable process. We hope you will find searching through properties a breeze and information about the North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach areas useful in planning your next visit here.
